The Artist James Stewart simply found that sculpting was the only activity that could keep his attention for hours at a time. At a young age his spare time was spent studying the movements of living things and the expressions each exuded. This curiosity has grown into a love affair with character and personality in art.. capturing an essence. In this sculpture series, "Sculpture Journalist" he is trying to portray just that.. the essence. In this case he is using bronze figurative art to capture the life, power, sadness, or even corruption of a place. As the months tick by you will see more and more pieces on this site as this particular series comes to life. The photgrapher For any artist, making a living through art is a dream. James decided the most practical way to earn a living and still remain close to his art was to investigate the film industry. Today he has helped produce some of the largest Character films to hit the silver screen including both "The Chronicles of Narnias" and "Shrek 2". One aspect of being on set in the film business is learning a new skill like the camera and the joy you can have in daily life with photography. James would not call himself a professional photographer but the pictures he has posted are a small sample of the situations and life expereinces that he has been able to capture.
