Nosara

Nosara is drawn from the beach town in Costa Rica, where a man selling coconut water stands as more than a vendor—he is a fixture of daily life, a quiet anchor in the rhythm of the community. His body, lean and sculpted by the ocean, reflects the archetype of the surfer’s form, shaped by both labor and sea.

In bronze, he becomes an emblem of place itself: the merging of commerce and culture, tradition and modern sport. Nosara is less an individual portrait than a distilled presence—one that embodies the spirit of Costa Rica’s coasts and the lives intertwined with them.
